Presidential Volunteer Service Awards (PVSA)

The Presidential Volunteer Service Award recognizes United States citizens and lawfully admitted, permanent residents of the United States who have achieved the required number of hours of service over a 12-month time period or cumulative hours over the course of a lifetime.

Presidential recognition is a tremendous honor and sets you apart from your peers. Even though you may not seek recognition, your example can deliver a powerful message that encourages others to take action.

 *All volunteer hours should be submitted to  C4HMIINFO@GMAIL.COM and counted between December 1 and  November 30. Don't forget to include all hours from any other organization, however you need to have at least 25% of hours from C4H.  

*  You must keep a log of all the hours you have volunteered, the person in charge needs to sign that you have completed these hours, and indicate where you have been volunteering. You may type or handwrite your hours. If you handwrite, it must be in pen and legible. Your logged hours need to be turned in /email no later than November 31. Volunteers make communities a brighter place to be!

Kids (5-10): 75+ hours
Teens (11-15): 100+ hours

Young Adults (16-25): 250+ hours

Adults (>26): 500+ hours

Kids (5-10): 50 to 74 hours
Teens (11-15): 75 to 99 hours

Young Adults (16-25): 175 to 249 hours

Adults (>26): 250 to 499 hours

Kids (5-10): 26 to 49 hours
Teens (11-15): 50 to 74 hours

Young Adults (16-25): 100 to 174 hours

Adults (>26): 100 to 249 hours

Due to a price increase, C4H will ONLY purchase Presidential Service Award pins for Gold Award level recipients who have 100%  volunteer hours with C4H.

All award levels will need to purchase own award certificate for $5.00/each. Silver and Bronze level recipients wishing to receive an award pin do have the option to purchase the award for $6.50/each plus shipping. 

To order your pin, indicated the order along with your PVSA hour log sheet. Once hours are verified you will receive an invoice with payment instructions.
